The Philadelphia 76ers will play Monday's preseason opener against the Knicks with LeBron James, All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid among the healthy inactives, per ESPN. Jaylen Brown and VJ Edgecombe represent the only regular starters in the lineup. James, a four-time MVP and 22-time All-Star who joined the Sixers in the offseason, anchors a team that compiled a 45-37 regular-season record. The Sixers lost to the Knicks in the second round of the previous playoffs. The squad participated in a scrimmage at home on Saturday.
