First timer seat advice

Hi all! My friends and I are visiting NYC from Europe in the next two weeks and want to take in a game, unfortunately for us it’ll be a preseason game but we don’t mind, we will just be happy to see the game. As it’s our first time we don’t know which seats to get at MSG so hoping for some insight: Sec 110 Row 14 Seat 5 and 6 Sec 109 Row 10 Seat 1 and 2 Sec 119 Row 10 Seat 17 and 18 Ideally we don’t mind spending around $200 and so these seats are all around this price point. Help a girl out please. I would greatly appreciate any guidance 😅

u/Alarmed-Award-9708 · 10h110 row 14 are right behind the basket, you'll get the full MSG energy but the view of the far end is a little tough. 109 row 10 are corner-ish but closer to the action and angled at the court, probably the best balance. 119 is behind the other basket, similar to 110 but a bit higher up behind the hoop. For a first time I'd take 109

u/Background_Ad4452 · 10hI have sat in section 109 a few times it is right behind the Knicks bench. Only issue is seat 1 and 2 are on the aisle so you would have to get up a few times throughout the game. Sec 110 is a couple of seats from the aisle but alittle further from the Knicks bench. Sec 119 is opposition of the other team’s bench but it would be closer to the Knicks end of the court in the second half. It really depends what experience you value the most. Safe travels to NYC! I hope the starters play during the preseason game you have in mind.
