[SNY] Josh Hart on the Knicks tabling contract extension talks for now: "Everything's going to work out. I'm not really too stressed over it, putting too much into it. Obviously, we have high expectations. It's good we're able to just focus on the season and keeping it moving."

He’s beloved by the fans, is getting a ton of endorsement deals, and he has kids now that he probably doesn’t want to move around the country. He’s been traded multiple times and signed a shitty contract with the Pelicans. I think he has to prefer the stability now.

u/GreenEnhanced · 3hHere’s what I think happened: Leon and company wanted to go into the apron. Dolan changed his mind and immediately came out stating it won’t happen. He was probably happy with his one chip for now. I think Leon instructed KAT and Hart to kind of start throwing jabs through the media to see if Dolan would budge, so they could pay them more money that they deserve. I think Dolan actually did get pissed when KAT said no shit Sherlock and then they were both told to shut it down.

This is not the first time KAT or Hart have publicly voiced their frustration with the team, so we can reasonably assume they did this on their own volition. But would Leon be upset that they are public with their frustrations? I don’t think so
