u/HokageEzio · 14hI think ignoring all reporting (national and on the beat) and the words coming out of the players' own mouths is very silly. Hart said it'd be uncomfortable if they got to the deadline if there was still no movement. Deuce said he's played through injuries and it's not great that there's nothing there. KAT said he wants to take a discount but respect his value. At some point you have to just take it for its word. Do I think they'll be unprofessional? No. But it's what was reported. They're cordial but far apart.

u/Pablo_Undercover · 14hExactly and that's fine, it's negotiations as long as it doesn't turn into a Duren situation it'll get hammered out. Hart and Kat will both likely get extended, unfortunately for Deuce I think he's gonna get traded.

u/TiddiesAnonymous · 14hExactly, I don't know why its so hard to tell the difference between what he's reporting and what he's spinning. Just read his articles. You can tell when he's hedging or speculating but that's the crap that's in the tweets and headlines.

These guys have to play for the Knicks this year and any sort of checking out or them being pissy all season cuz of no deal is going to hurt their ability to get a big contract somewhere else if Knicks don’t give them what they want so I have faith that we will at least have this year to make a legit run at the title again

u/E-Miles · 8hI mean that was real. For whatever its worth, I know someone who works for Milwaukee and Giannis was very interested in coming to NY at one point. By the time he was open though our team was rolling.
