Unfortunately, there was a large group of people ( cough HASIDIC cough ) who disproportionately abused the policy so much, they had to change it across the board, and for certain products, get rid of it completely. Not sure if it that was a store by store situation or regional thing. But, yea.

u/LanEvo7685 · 17hI wasn't from the USA and generous return policy is new to me, but the first time going to the Wiz I saw people queuing to return all sorts of crap like clearly yellowed out dial telephones. I always feel that's exactly why the Wiz is no longer here.

u/Ranier_Wolfnight · 16hI kind of felt Nobody Beats the Wiz met its demise because it tried to expand too much. They were fine and better off being a small chain store. There was no way they could compete with Best Buy and Circuit City.

I meant to since someone during the summer posted some merch they bought. I just pretty much never buy clothes from Costco so it didn't occur to me to look lol
